All the TEACHERS must have commitment and commitments mean.

WHAT I SAY I DO

WHAT I PROMISE I FULFIL

The common minimum programme (C.M.P.) is implemented as part of strengthening primary education. A number of special facilities under C.M.P. facilitate a joyful and fruitful learning environment leaving a lasting impression in the minds of primary kids. Our Vidyalaya has developed the necessary support system as per the C.M.P. guidelines.

In order to implement Common Minimum Programme for Qualitative improvement of the primary education, all programmes, strategies and activities should be planned to address the following suggested quality indicators:-

1.    Infrastructural Facilities in the School

2.    School Management and Parental Support

3.    School and Classroom Environment

4.    Curriculum and Teaching Learning Materials

5.    Teacher  Preparation

6.    Classroom Practices and Processes.

7.    Opportunity Time(Teaching learning time)

8.    Learners’ Assessment, Monitoring & Supervision

 In addition are the:-

1.      Developing support system.

2.      Developing effecting monitoring & evaluation system.

3.      Re-designing of time-table.

4.      Program for providing exposure to the children.

5.      Reducing the burden of teachers.

6.      Others- PTA meeting.

For the effective implementation of Common Minimum Programme for the qualitative improvement of  the primary school education, the Kendriya Vidyalayas of Bhopal Region are grouped in to  clusters. The Principals and the HMs of these cluster schools shall meet periodically to ensure the smooth implementation of all programmes, strategies and activities under the scheme of the CMP.

Activities carried out under common minimum programme

Necessary support system:-A fully equipped resource room with L.C.D., Projector, 29 inch colour TV, V.C.D-D.V.D player, OHP, One computer with broadband connectivity, interactive boards are being fully utilized by the teachers for effective usage in classroom transactions.

Class library:-A well maintained class library is functioning . Library periods are allotted for class library, Group reading is encouraged.

Community Lunch

Socialization teaches habits, ideas, attitudes and values. Understanding the role of school in cultivating healthy food habits and avoiding wastage of food, a monthly ‘Community Lunch Programme’ of every Class is organized by the respective class teachers. The Programme helps in inculcating the values of good eating habits in the class inclusive of Students with diverse socio-cultural background and sharing with them.

Spoken English and Reading Cards

To strengthen English as a medium of communication amongst students, maximum usage of English as a language has been made mandatory. To encourage children , students are grouped together in each class with a group leader monitoring, correcting and guiding the group with their difficulties. Under the guidance of all the teachers the students are encouraged to talk only in English. In this regard the Lingua-phone and reading cards are being used apart from other story telling, and educational C.Ds for enhancing spoken English.

 Badges

Class-wise morning assembly is being presented by students from class I onwards. Teachers ensure that the standard is maintained with maximum participation from each class. To encourage the students of Primary section  ‘ BADGES’ are awarded to a boys and a girls from each class on the basis of their overall performance.

Hindi Pakhawada

To encourage maximum use of Hindi, the ‘Hindi Pakhawada ‘ was celebrated during 15th Sept 2014 to 29th Sept 2014. Various programmes were conducted in Hindi to promote our Rashtrabhasha. Some of these programmes were ‘Suvichar lekhan’, ‘Hindi poems’, and‘Hindi action songs’ . Interesting, colorful and value based Hindi story books will be later on distributed as prizes.

Competitions:-Cluster level C.C.A and sport competitions are planned as per the calendar of activities. Preparations to this effect have been initiated. Sports day will be celebrated with full spirit.

Cubs and Bulbuls

There are  24 Bulbuls and  24 cubs actively participating every wednesday. Apart from their regular activities ‘Vanmahotsav Day’ was celebrated by planting saplings.

Excursions

To take a step ahead in our informal learning, excursions were organized for the Primary classes in this Academic year.  Classes III, IV and V witnessed natural sight seeing in collector park on 3rd sept. The children were fascinated by natural phenomenon of flowering. Biscuit packets  and bananas were the special gifts from the school to all the children. It was an enjoyable, informative and fun-filled day for the children.

Resource Room

Resource Room is full of all the resourceful things that our teachers need for conducting various activities in their classes. It is equipped with L.C.D. projector, Computer,  29” Television set,  Educational C.D.s, Films, as well as Power-Point Presentations prepared by each and every Primary teacher along with charts, maps, masks, models, globe etc. A proper time table has been prepared to enable every teacher to take her class in the Resource Room and record of the same is maintained.

Medical Check-up

The annual medical check-up was conducted in August 2014. By the team of the Doctors of Govt.Hospital children went through the medical check up. Parents were informed about the same and requested to take care where ever required and necessary. Teachers are taking precautions in following up such cases

Sports Day

It will be conducted as per the schedule.

RIGHT TO EDUCATION (RTE)

According to RTE 2009, it is incumbent upon the school to give admission, to maintain attendance and to pass every child. This is a great challenge. And the success of the HM depends upon how far he/she is capable of motivating the teachers to face this challenge.

No child should fail. So empower him to pass. Learning is a habit, enable the child to learn in a positive environment.  No Child should feel harassed, rejected or neglected. Every child must feel that he is wanted. Give him the confidence that he can succeed. Feel empathetic towards the child; move into the heart of the child. Understand his experiences and relate the class room teaching to his experiences as well as with the happenings in the outside world.
